Serao Pretties was born from a need for affordable, fun, bright earrings for her three daughters. Ellice, Owner and Director, is passionate about creating statement earrings for every outfit and aims to delight our customers with every pair. 

Based in Calliope in Central Queensland, we're a business with love for our small town heritage. We ship all over Australia, and our Stockist network growing, we have big goals with the drive to match. 

We sat down with Ellice to learn more about Serao Pretties.

Tell us about the name, Serao Pretties, and how you got started:

Serao Pretties started back in 2014 and before I go any further I’m sure most of you are wondering how to pronounce the name. It’s pronounced Sir-Ray-O.

‘Serao’ is the first initial for my husband, myself and our three daughters names and ‘Pretties’ was the word my girls used to call earrings when they were little. When I first came up with the name I had no intention on getting this big but now I couldn’t imagine any other name because at times its a joint effort from everyone.

I started making earrings for my then 5, 3 and 1 year old daughters who all loved ‘Pretties’ and still do, slightly more obsessed now they’re all older.

How would you describe your business and what you do:

We have a passion for creating fun, colourful, fashion earrings with high quality surgical steel posts for even the most sensitive of ears. We love creating statement earrings that catch peoples attention, and say "Wow, I love your earrings! Where'd you get them?"

You've been operating since 2014, what's the plan for the future? 

Well, the best thing of all is I have no intention of slowing down. I absolutely love creating new styles for you all and to see how excited everyone gets about my earrings, it definitely keeps the fire going. 

We're expanding our Stockist network to get more of our styles into boutiques, Newsagencies and Pharmacies around the country that have the same values that we do. We want to reach more people who have a need for fun, bright earrings in their lives!
